TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) -- Meet our Pet of the Week, Kira.
This eight-month old puppy is a Plott Hound Mix with a beautiful brindle coat.
Kira came in to the shelter as a stray, and volunteers there are working to get her out of her shell. She has a gentle play style and plays very well with other dogs.
Kira is in good health and is heartworm negative. She's also already been spayed.
