TALLAHASSEE, FL - Oktoberfest is this Friday and WTXL ABC 27 is a proud sponsor.
Sunrise/Midday Anchor Christine Souders will emceed the event.
She talked with organizers of the event Tuesday morning on Sunrise.
Oktoberfest is being put on by Elder Care Services September 30th.
It's being held at the The Centre of Tallahassee from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m.
This is the World's Largest Folk Festival and officially begins in Germany at noon on Saturday, September 17th.
It runs through Monday, October 3rd at 11:30 p.m. Munich Time.
Locally, Oktoberfest will have unlimited servings of traditional German cuisine prepared by chefs, there will be a large selection of german desserts, a fine selection of Oktoberfest beer in the "Biergarten."
