TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - Making sure that those suffering from depression can get effective treatment is important for helping the lives of sufferers.
A new technology called Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation(TMS) is allowing doctors to help those who do not respond to traditional depression treatments.
VIDEO LEFT: We were joined by Dr. John Bailey, a doctor that is using TMS to treat depression, and Chris Stockwell, a patient who has undergone TMS.
The treatment is cleared by the FDA and uses a magnetic coil pressed against the scalp of the patient to help control mood.
