TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - An activities based support group for people with limb loss and limb difference is hosting their first meeting in the Tallahassee area.
LIM359 originated in Colorado and started as a way to provide a safe, supportive environment where people could do new activities they might not otherwise be able to participate in.
VIDEO: Whitney Harris was a member of the Colorado LIM359 and when she came to the Tallahassee area, she decided to bring the organization with her.
The first meeting of LIM359 in Tallahassee takes place on Saturday, February 21 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the Crepevine on Railroad Ave.
This meeting will be used to gauge what types of activities participants would be interested in doing. This could be anything from hiking and kayaking to modified rock-climbing.
