Tallahassee, FL (WTXL) -- Tallahassee-Leon Federal Credit Union's Mini Billionaires Academy is launching it's first training camp in the Philippines.

Established in 2012, the academy educates kids from the ages of 8-16 on personal financial management. The MBA earned state and national awards for its unique ways of teaching the importance of responsible money management. Under the direction of TLFCU President/CEO Lisa Brown, the MBA was recognized by the Global Women's Leadership Network through the World Council of Credit Unions, and has been invited to replicate the program overseas. From November 11-29, Brown and camp leaders will travel to Cebu, Philippines to teach Entrepreneurship and Marketing followed by a visit to Mandaue, Philippines to teach Personal Finance. TLFCU CEO and campers will also discuss simple tips parent can teach children in order to help them learn how to manage their personal finances
