MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) - Groups all across the Big Bend are showing their support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month in a variety of different ways.
The Gadsden County Sheriff Department is doing their part as well by hosting the Morris A. Young Breast Cancer Walk. The event takes place on October 24, 2014.
This walk may be considered a little different because it has participants traveling 35 miles across the county, from Midway to Chattahoochee.
There will be multiple stopping points throughout the walk where participants can stay hydrated. Teams are encouraged to donate $35, one dollar for every mile, that will be donated to the Relay for Life.
