TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - The FAMU Football team is getting ready for it's first home game of the season.
We were joined in the Sunrise studio by Kellen Winslow, the new FAMU Director of Athletics and former professional Tight End for the San Diego Chargers. Winslow was appointed as the new Director of Athletics earlier this year by FAMU President, Dr. Elmira Mangum.

Winslow talked with us not only about his philosophy for the FAMU Athletics program but about some new features fans can enjoy at upcoming home games this season.
One new experience for fans is the "North End Zone Club," a climate controlled lounge area with patio seating. The lounge also will offer a buffet and adult beverages. This will be the only bar in Bragg Stadium.
The first FAMU home game is against Coastal Carolina and takes place Saturday, September 20, at 5:00pm. If you would like to learn more about the improvements to the Bragg Stadium you can visit FAMUAthletics.com.
