TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - You've stored the extra wrapping paper and started packing your ornaments. But, now it's time to decide what to do with your evergreen before it turns ever-brown.
One way to make sure that your Christmas tree is helping the environment more than it's hurting it is to have your tree recycled. The City of Tallahassee will turn your tree into mulch that will line the walking paths and trails of the many parks in the city. This is one way to make sure your tree doesn't end up in the landfill.
You can drop off your tree at the Four Points by Sheraton on West Tennessee Street anytime between December 26, 2014 and January 4, 2015.
