GEORGIA (WTXL) - The Georgia Emergency Management Agency/Homeland Security is working with different houses of worship to keep congregations safe in an emergency.

The initiative is called "Praise & Preparedness" and the goal is to equip religious groups with the knowledge and materials to keep people safe in the event of an emergency.

The resources include emergency plan templates, flyers, emergency supple checklists, family communications plan worksheets and more.
