TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - The Football season is kicking off this weekend and this morning on Sunrise's "Pinterest Party", we showed you great craft from an Florida State fan you can make at home.
Sarah Weston, a FSU alumni and crafter, showed us how to make a mini version of her "FSU Ribbon Wreath".
The wreath is pretty simple to make, it just takes a little time and dedication.
Supplies need for this project:
Small Wreath
Wood Letter (optional)
Straight Pins or Hot Glue
Garnet and Gold Ribbon
Garnet and Gold Acrylic Paint
The more varied the ribbon is the better; take the ribbons and cut them into small squares. Fold them over and glue to make a circle. Wrap your wreath in ribbon and glue to keep from unraveling. Begin gluing or pinning ribbon circles onto the wreath. Once the ribbons cover the face of the wreath, you can paint the letters and glue them to the face of the wreath.
For more detailed instructions, watch the full video on the left.
You can check out Weston's Etsy page as well where she sells a full size version of this craft.
