TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - Making a community successful requires strong leadership, and an upcoming conference is getting community members together to talk about what they need from their leaders.
"Together We Can" is a community empowerment conference looking to help volunteers and community leaders succeed in the Tallahassee Community.
VIDEO: Dr. Kelley Bolden Bailey is the founder of Educate Lead Serve Consulting, the organization hosting the conference. She joined us on Sunrise to talk about the conference.
There will be several speakers from the Tallahassee area talking about their vision for serving the community in addition to the keynote speaker Dr. Patricia Russell, the author of "A IS FOR ATTITUDE: An Alphabet for Living".
