TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) -- Gone are the days of running over the same pot hole, or wondering just when that street light right outside you house is finally going to get fixed.
Now, DigiTally has you covered.
"Everything is mobile today and people want to have everything at their fingertips on their smart phones," said Jim Vanriper, a technology planning and advancement administrator.
DigiTally lets users report problems throughout the city, and even send a picture of what needs to be fixed.
"Doing it through the DigiTally app makes it very simple for citizens. If they see an issue like pot holes, graffiti, a broken street light, they can snap a photo and submit it directly to the city departments,” said Carrie Poole with the City of Tallahassee.
Once you've submitted your request, you'll continue to receive notifications on the progress.
But it doesn’t stop there. DigiTally is chock full of information residents might need.
"It's not just a place to complain about your problems, but you can there to find out information about things that are going on in the community in the calendar, find information about parks and facilities and trails, things like that,” said Vanriper.
Officials are now working to add a bus tracker and traffic maps to the app, helping users stay even more connected to their city.
"It's a more efficient line of communication that the city offers it's citizens with the goal of further enhancing our ability to provide quality customer service," said Poole.
Vanriper adds: "Help us work smarter, faster and more efficiently.”
Since it was created officials have resolved more than 6,000 requests.
