TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) — A 22-year-old is back behind bars after deputies found a gun inside his vehicle just four days after he was released from prison.

Leon County deputies were patrolling the area of West Tennessee street when they found a vehicle parked in Martha Wellman early Monday morning.

Deputies approached the car and identified the driver as 22-year-old Obtavious Faulk.

They say Faulk had just been released from prison on May 16 on aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

A 9mm gun was found inside the vehicle near Faulk's legs.

According to LCSO, Faulk was arrested and transported to the Leon County Detention Facility.

He is being held without bond on possession of firearm and violation of probation charges.
