TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - More than two years after a chemistry experiment at Lincoln High School injured three students, Leon County schools will pay out  six figures to one of those students.

According to the Tallahassee Democrat, the $125,000 settlement was voted on by the school board at Tuesday's meeting with a unanimous vote to approve it.

In May 2015 a teacher was performing a flame test during a chemistry class. The flame got out of control and sent two students to the hospital.
