Kona Grill is getting ready to open its first Alabama restaurant in October at Bridge Street Town Centre.
The new restaurant will seat about 389 people in its 7,000 square foot facility that will open near Belk next month, according to a news release from the company.
Kona Grill started in Scottsdale, Ariz., in 1998 and has since grown to 38 restaurants in 20 states.
The company says its restaurants offer diverse American favorites such as sandwiches, steaks, seafood and pizzas, as well as sushi and special cocktails.
Moe's Southwest Grill will also open at Bridge Street this fall. There are also plans for an AT&T store to open, as well as Anna Cate, a jewelry store that will open next to Kona Grill.
