TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) — Doctor Matthew Zaideman of North Spine and Wellness, is offering antibody tests to find people who may have had the virus and didn't even know it.
The blood test would show whether they have immunity to the virus or not.
He says test results have 95 percent accuracy and will help researchers figure out how to fight the virus, or come up with future vaccines.
“It’s kind of like the flu I mean we’ve produced antibodies against strands of the flu but if it keeps mutating and we get a new strain every season then we’re still going to be susceptible to it," said Zaideman.
People wanting to get tested at North Spine and Wellness don't need a doctors referral.
