TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) — Due to COVID-19 many family activities, vacations and adventures have been canceled or pushed back.

But a local photographer is giving families something to enjoy and remember, during their time at home.

Cole Zimmerman of Craft Creek Photography, is going around the city taking pictures of families...at their front door....while he stays at least 10 feet away.

It's becoming a trend around the country, called "Porch Portraits".

For this photographer, families do pay a fee.... but 20-percent of that will be given to the Hope Community, which helps families in need.

"The way these meeting sessions work is there twenty, twenty five minutes so I'm in and out I send the poses ahead of time so they know what to do and what to wear so if they have questions. Again, following the rules that we can," said Zimmerman.

Zimmerman says the response has been great... and he has limited spaces left.

If you would like to set up a photo-shoot you can do that here.
