Gabriella Mercurio joins the ABC 27 team as a multimedia journalist and a Florida native.
Gabriella was born and raised in South Florida and earned her Bachelor's in telecommunication news from the University of Florida in April 2022. During college, Gabriella worked in both radio and television for the college's newsroom, WUFT News.
Starting her journalism career in high school, Gabriella has always had a passion for storytelling. She is excited to get plugged into the Big Bend community and tell people's stories.
When Gabriella isn't on air, you can find her searching for the best local coffee shops, doing outdoor activities, trying new restaurants, or exploring the city.
