FSU's Police Department responds to a robbery with a firearm

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. — According to authorities, at about 2:40 this morning, FSU PD responded to a report of a robbery of a pizza delivery near Wildwood Hall.

When police arrived, the victim told them the suspect demanded pizza and implied he had a weapon in his car.

The driver handed over the pizza.

The suspect took it and left the campus.

Police say no one was injured during the incident.

If anyone has any information, they are asked to call FSU PD at: 850-644-1234.

The college is offering some robbery prevention tips to make sure this doesn't happen to anyone.

Some of the tips include:

- Do not travel on foot alone. If possible, use resources like SAFE Escort or Nole cab.

- Avoid isolated locations. Stay in well lit, well populated areas.

-Report suspicious behavior and activities immediately to police.
