For Your Protection: Car break ins

TALLAHASSEE, FL (WTXL) --  Leon County Sheriff's Office and Tallahassee Police Department are sending out a joint warning to residents after hundreds of car break ins.

The agencies say in two past two months, officers have responded to 398 reports of car break ins.

Tallahassee police have since arrested two people believed to be involved, but warn more people could be pulling the same act. Officers say thieves are going into cars with unlocked doors and getting away with an array of items.
