Tallahassee Police Officer Dave Northway says to run away in a zig-zag. This would make it hard if someone is trying to shoot you. If you can, get out of the area. Call 911.
If you are stuck inside, hide. Find a place where the person cannot find you.
The third option is to fight. Grab whatever you can and use it as a weapon.
