TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - Every Florida school and school administrative building will have to prominently display "In God we trust" under a bill moving through the Legislature

"In God we trust" is included in state law as Florida's official motto.

The bill would require school boards to adopt rules ensuring the motto would be displayed in a openly visible place in each school.

State Rep. Matt Caldwell supports the bill.

An identical bill has been filed in the Senate but hasn't been heard by any Senate committee.
