TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - The Florida Legislative Black Caucus says they will be holding a press conference to demand an apology for U.S. Rep. Frederica Wilson following "baseless claims" made by President Donald Trump.

The caucus says that they will hold a press conference on Tuesday to "demand accountability, and an apology."

They say that an apology is due to U.S. Rep. (and former Florida Legislative Black Caucus Chair) Frederica Wilson, following "baseless claims" made by President Donald Trump and his chief of staff.

According to Wilson, Trump called Myeshia Johnson, the widow of a fallen U.S. Army Green Beret, and told that her husband "knew what he signed up for." Johnson

Trump has denied that account, the Associated Press reporting that the President took to Twitter following Johnson's interview on ABC's Good Morning America on Monday.
