MONTICELLO, Fla. (WTXL) — Troopers say a fatal crash has shutdown a portion of U.S. Highway 19 in Jefferson County.
According to Florida Highway Patrol, the accident happened Friday around 7:17 a.m. on U.S. 19 and Sammons Road.
FHP is reporting a fatality and a roadblock in the northbound lane of U.S. 19.
At this time, we don't know how many vehicles were involved in the crash.
Authorities are urging drivers to use caution when traveling in the area.
