Advanced Fresh Concepts issued a voluntary recall after testing found potential Listeria in the product.
No one has fallen ill from the Edamame, but the product was recalled from stores, cafeterias and corporate dining centers in 33 states.
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention said Listeria can cause fever, muscle aches, diarrhea and other gastrointestinal problems.
It can also be deadly for the elderly, those with chronic medical conditions and people with weakened immune systems.
