(WWSB) -- A recall was made by a popular brand of dog food on Tuesday.
Evanger's is voluntarily recalling some of its 'Hunk of Beef' dog food after pentobarbital, a sedative used in euthanasia, was found in it.
This is the company's first recall in 82 years.
So far five dogs have been reported sick and one dog has died.
The 12-ounce cans were sold in stores in 15 states, including Florida.
The USDA is urging anyone who possesses these cans to throw them away.
They are also paying the vet bills of all sick dogs and making a donation to a shelter in honor of the dog who died.
