TALLAHASSEE, FL (WTXL) -- A person has been killed while trying to cross West Tennessee Street Friday morning, according to the Leon County Sheriff's Office.
49-year-old Joey Tucker Kilgore was pronounced dead at the scene.
The preliminary investigation, conducted by the LCSO Traffic Homicide Unit, revealed Kilgore was attempting to cross the road at the 3800 block of West Tennessee when he was struck by an unknown vehicle, said deputies.
That vehicle left the scene.
