JONESBORO, Ga. (AP) - Clayton County police are searching for a McDonald's employee who they say allegedly walked into the restaurant, shot and killed a co-worker and ran from the scene.
Local news outlets report the shooting happened about 7:30 p.m. Thursday at the fast-food restaurant in Jonesboro.
Police say an 18-year-old man died a short time later at a nearby hospital.
Police are working to determine the motive of the shooting.
The names of the shooting victim and the accused shooter have not been released.
