Tallahassee (WTXL)-- Alex Demond Riley has been charged with burglary as well as attempted sexual battery, after DNA evidence was uncovered at the scene of the crime.
According to documents from Tallahassee Police Department, in September of 2015, Riley reportedly entered the victims' house by kicking down the door then proceeded to physically assault the two roommates, dragging one out her room by the neck.
After the women broke free from the attacker, they ran outside to scream for help. Neighbors heard the screams and called the police.
Tallahassee Police say that upon investigating the scene they were able to uncover forensic evidence linking Riley to the crime.
Alex Demond Riley was booked into Leon County Jail Friday.
