MADISON, FL (WTXL) - Deputies say the smell of marijuana during a traffic stop led to the arrest of two accused drug traffickers.
According to the Madison County Sheriff's Office, deputies pulled over a car on I-10 and smelled marijuana on the driver.
Deputies say they found 59 grams of crystal meth, eight cell phones, and cash during a search of the vehicle.
The driver, Traveous Anderson was arrested and charged with trafficking a controlled substance and driving while on a suspended license.
His passenger, Vernette Pompey was also arrested and charged with trafficking a controlled substance.
