SEMINOLE COUNTY, GA.--  The Seminole county Sheriff's office says it has received two different reports of door-to-door problems in Seminole County, recently, that have both been rumors.

On Monday May 23,  Deputies say they received several reports of a black Chevy Suburban with 3 subjects going door to door at the lake area.

The Sheriff's Office says they received no reports that the subjects had robbed anyone, and received no reports that they burglarized any residence.

Deputy Shingler was able to locate the vehicle and identify the subjects. However, because the was nothing supporting that any crime was committed, no arrest was made.

Deputy Shingler did ask them to leave the area.

On Wednesday May 25, the Sheriff's Office said, it is a rumor that an elderly female was attacked in her home by the people going door to door.

Deputies say they have not received any reports of such an attack.

Officials do encourage anyone that is aware of a victim to advise that person to contact the Sheriff's Office.

The Office says if you see anyone suspicious, please call 911 or the Sheriff's Office at 524-5115 and a deputy will be dispatched to check the area.
