TALLAHASSEE, Fla. - (WTXL) The trial of Henry Segura, scheduled to begin on Monday March 27th, has been pushed back.

Friday morning, March 24th, Segura requested new counsel, asking the court to remove his current counsel 2nd Chair Defense Attorney Chuck Hobbs.

Both Segura and Defense Attorney Nathan Prince said the removal request is due to a "conflict in case."

Attorney Prince also requested to appoint a new attorney; Orlando Attorney Ann Finnell.

The judge expressed frustration over the timing of all this, saying quote, "the case is older than it should be."

Despite it, the judge granted the request to remove co-lead counsel Mr. Hobbs.

Both sides will meet Tuesday, April 4th at 10:30 a.m. to discuss setting up a new trial date.
