Tallahassee, Fla.-- A 17 year old boy was shot and killed in northern Tallahassee, Florida.
Leon County Sheriff Deputies say Robert Butler, was shot just after 9 pm Saturday on the 4700 block of Maylor road. Butler was then taken to a local hospital where he died.
The family is now searching for answers, as an investigation is underway. There is no word yet on who is responsible for the shooting.
Our media partner, the Tallahassee Democrat has learned that Butler was a former student at Lincoln High School.
According to the principal, Butler was working toward his GED and planned to enroll in TCC after struggling with poor grades at Lincoln.
