TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) -- A special series of workshops is offering a place for storytellers and entrepreneurs to meet, share and grow.
FAKTOR•10 and the Meek-Eaton Black Archives are teaming up to host the IDentity Lecture Series.
Organizers say, "IDentity is an inspirational series of forums, talks, lectures and conversations focused on cultivating ideas, formulating concepts and cultivating the growth of entrepreneurship that will shape society and the human condition. The lecture series will introduce new catalysts towards fostering a new generation in the evolution of entrepreneurs, thinkers, doers and leaders in the global community."
The IDentity series is covers a variety of ideas and topics.
The 2016 sessions kicks off Wednesday, February 10, offering crash courses in personal branding & brand management and network, plus a keynote address from national correspondent Aaron Paxton Arnold.
On the schedule for the upcoming workshops: entrepreneur Nina Morena; writer, producer and entrepreneur Askia Jones; designer Dante' Fillyau; and tech entrepreneur and diversity champion Michael Hall.
The IDentity Lecture Series continues March 16, April 6, and May 11, from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. each day. Everything is at the Meek-Eaton Black Archives Research Center and Museum (445 Gamble Street).
It's free for students with RSVP and a valid student ID. General admission is $25 and VIP admission is $100.
