TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) -- The City of Tallahassee is celebrating the 29th year of the Winter Festival!
The holiday tradition takes over downtown and helps kick off the holiday season.
This year's theme is "Holiday Fun For Everyone," and organizers are certainly taking that to heart.
The festival features five stages of live entertainment and candy making demonstrations by Lofty Pursuits
Kids can also take a stroll down Candy Cane Lane and compete in an ornament tree decorating contest display.
There's also plenty of food, vendors, arts and crafts.
The Winter Festival is Saturday, December 5 from 3 p.m. until 10 p.m.
The lighting ceremony is at 6 p.m., the Jingle Bell Run kicks off at 6:15 p.m. and the Nighttime Parade begins at 7:15 p.m.
