TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) -- An area organization is inviting the community to commemorate National Pregnancy and Infant Loss Remembrance Day.

Capital Area Healthy Start Coalition is hosting its 13th annual Walk to Remember.

Organizers say the walk  gives families an opportunity to share their stories with others who experienced the loss of a baby.

There's also a memorial service and reading of each baby's names. Grief counselors will also be on hand.

Those taking part will also take a candlelit walk around Lake Ella in memory of their lost loved ones.

The Walk to Remember is Thursday, October 15 from 5:30 p.m.-8:30 p.m. at the Saint Paul United Methodist Church (1700 North Meridian Road). It's free to take part and all are welcome.
