TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) -- The Tallahassee Senior Center is aging gracefully itself!

The Old Armory Building, now home of the Tallahassee Senior Center, is turning 80 years old.

The building began its long history as an armory. Over these eight decades, it was also a dance hall and a place for roller skating parties.

In celebration of its long history in town, the Senior Center is throwing an 80th birthday party for the facility, and you're invited.

It's Friday, August 7 from 7 p.m. until 10 p.m. Everything is at the Tallahassee Senior Center (1400 N. Monroe).

Tickets are $20 and on sale now at the Senior Center.
