TALLAHASSEE, FL -- This past December, there was a return of the force as the Star Wars Saga returned to the big screen. The movie drew lots of fans to theaters and setting records at the box office.
And now the City of Tallahassee is bringing a galaxy far, far away closer to home. Residents can watch Star Wars The Force Awakens this Saturday at Cascades Park.
'Movies in the Moonlight' is a night of family fun featuring a costume contest for fan groups complete with Storm Troopers, R2-D2 and more.
Kids can also enjoy a costume contest, face painting, balloon artist, giveaways and games.
The event kicks off Saturday, July 30th from 7:30pm-8:30pm at Cascades Park in Tallahassee.
