TALLAHASSEE, FL - We often hear people day, "The book is better than the movie."
A local book club agrees.
The Book is Better Book Club is holding an event Tuesday night at 6 p.m. at the Leroy Collins Leon County Public Library.
Michelle Ray tells us about the club on Sunrise.
Ray says the book club provides a way for community members with a love of reading and film to gather and discuss books that have been adapted to film.
The club is open to the public.
This month, they are discussing "Persepolis by Marjane Satrapi."
Copies of the book and movie are located at the library.
