TALLAHASSEE, FL -- The Tallahassee Writers Association is gearing up for it's monthly meeting along with a conference and book fair.
This month's meeting will be Thursday, August 18 from 6:30-8 p.m. at the American Legion Hall at Lake Ella.
Tickets are free and can be purchased at www.twaonline.org.
The Tallahassee Writers Conference and Book Fair will feature keynote speaker Jeff Lindsay, author of the Dexter series.
The conference and book fair kick off on Wednesday, August 24 from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. at the Turnbull Center in Tallahassee.
