TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL)-- If you are looking for some free entertainment and live music then Tallahassee is the place to be this weekend. The Downtown Tallahassee Business Association and the Tallahassee Downtown Improvement Authority will host its second jazz concert this year in its "Saturday in the Park" series.
On Saturday, April 6 at 8 p.m. both Richie Summa and Leon Anderson, Jr. will perform at the Ponce De Leon Park located on West Park Avenue in Tallahassee.
Richie Summa comes from an extensive jazz background as he has backed entertainers such as Engelbert Humperdinck, Julie Andrews, The Fifth Dimension and more.
Leon Anderson, Jr. also has a strong jazz background. Anderson is the director of Jazz Studies at Florida State University and has collaborations with David Sanchez, Mike Wolf, Judy Collins, and Jason Marsalis.
The event is free and open to the public.
