Jack Pittman is the author of Loose Strings is this weeks' guest speaker.
Peggy Kassees tells us what attendees can expect.
Pittman's presentation title is "The Art and Science of Writing."
In 2003, Pittman published a non-fiction book consisting of a series of essays on cosmology, titled 'Spirit Walk through the Universe."
He published his first science fiction novel, "Loose Strings," in 2013.
The protagonist in that novel, a brilliant quantum physicist, Jeremiah Berrigan, creates an artificial portal into another dimension.
In his second novel, the Shaman's Skull, Jon Amarak, an indigenous Australian and an exo-engineer, is haunted by the spirit of a long dead shaman.
Alternative Dimension is the third book in the Trilogy, in which Jon and Jeremiah meet and find that their inter dimensional travels have altered the space-time continuum and everything they lived in the past and know about Earth and the universe is now Slightly Out of Phase.
Jack hopes to publish his third novel by the end of this year.
