TALLAHASSEE, FL (WTXL) - This morning on WTXL Sunrise, Christine Souders met with Tallahassee Big Dog Rescue to discuss their upcoming "Paws and Pies" event this Saturday.
Big Dog Rescue board member Sheree Brown and Brittany Brodeur of Joe Mama's came on the air to talk about the event which celebrates the non-profit organization's 18th year of rescuing big (and small) dogs from abuse, abandonment, euthanasia and natural disaster.
The event will be hosted by Joe Mama's Wood Fired Pizza and will feature raffles and a silent auction where guests can enter to win prizes and gift cards for themselves and their furry friends.
Tickets range from $25-45 and include a pizza buffet, drinks, raffle tickets, and dog treats.
The Paws and Pies event is this Saturday, June 18th at Joe Mama's Wood Fired Pizza on North Monroe Street. More information can be found on Facebook and tickets can be purchased online.
