TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL)-- Leon County residents rocked out Saturday night all in good spirit to raise money for a local foundation.
The Spirit of A child Foundation held it's annual fundraiser that gives the opportunity to raise money for important cause while showcasing both national and locally known musicians.
This year's featured artists were the Michael Miller Band, Sway Jah Vu, and Tyler Denning Band.
The president shared the importance of this event.
"The goal of the event is that we are raising money here to bring selected families through an application process on an environmental weekend retreat," Sharon Wynn.
The first Rockin' With Spirit concert was held to raise money for the vicitms of Hurricane Sandy. The concert is the focal point of the organization's continuing efforts to make a strong impact on the lives of families.
