TALLAHASSEE, FL -- Next week the community will have a chance to take part in a march to end the silence surrounding domestic violence.
The annual event stopping at three sites in the Capital City including Florida State University, Florida A&M University and The Capitol. Groups from each site will march to Miller Hall at the FSU Stadium for a bbq dinner and survivors speaker.
The event is free and marching is not mandatory. The goal is to bring awareness on the verge of October, which is domestic violence awareness month.
Everything kicks off on Tuesday, September 27 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
