TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) -- A Tallahassee church is again taking part in a global movement to give everyone the chance to go to prom.

It's thanks to the Night to Shine Prom.

Genesis Church is once again hosting the event, with a grant from the Tim Tebow Foundation. This time, hundreds of churches all across the world will be dancing the night away at the same time.

Anyone who goes to the prom will get the full experience, from hair and make-up to a limo ride. There's even a "red carpet experience" with paparazzi and gift bags. Genesis is also hosting a parent prom, so moms and dads get to take part too.

This marks the second year Genesis is hosting a Night to Shine, so organizers are doubling their efforts to make it an extra special event.

There are also plenty of opportunities for the community to take part and help make this prom picture perfect.

Organizers are looking for volunteers to act as a "buddy" for prom guests throughout the evening.

The Night to Shine Prom is Friday, February 12 from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. at Genesis Church (4010 Mission Road). It's free for anyone with special needs who is at least 14.
