Several local dog and cat rescue groups are gathering for the "Take Me Home" pet adoption event, a one-stop-shop for pet owners and those looking to take home a furry friend.
The event is taking place Saturday, January 12, 2013 from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the North Florida Fairgrounds. There is no cost to attend, however donated pet items are appreciated.
The event will feature rescued animals that need to find life-time homes from local groups such as Last Hope Rescue, Big Bend Dog Rescue, Leon County Humane Society and more!
Also expect to see local vendors from pet friendly businesses, demonstrations by Tallahassee Dog Obedience Club members and drawings throughout the day for pet related items and gift cards.
Spay and neuter vouchers will be available through Be The Solution, Inc.
