MONTICELLO, Fla. (WTXL) -- 'SuperKids!' is coming to Monticello!
It's the latest production to take the stage at the Monticello Opera House.
As the production company explains, the show is about a boy with super powers who is invited to attend Super Hero School, where the Mighty Minds teach the Super Hero students all about math, spelling, reading, history, science and music. What about learning to leap tall buildings at a single bound or defeating space zombies? Find out how he saves the day by learning that Knowledge is Power.
Melanie Mays, Director of Monticello Acting & Dance Co., and Mighty Reading Mind cast member Abigail Boyd joined us on WTXL Midday for all the details. Click the thumbnail to see the interview.
SuperKids! shows continue June 27 and summer camp shows are June 25 and 26. Evening shows begin at 7 p.m. and Saturday matinees start at 11:30 a.m. Camp performances are set for 10 a.m. and 1 p.m.
Everything is at the Monticello Opera House, (185 W Washington Street). Tickets are $10 for adults, $5 for students, and $3 for kids 12 and under. For more information, call (850) 997-4242 or click here.
