TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) -- Our Summer Camp Sampler continues this Camp Invention.

According to its founders, Camp Invention is the only nationally recognized, non-profit elementary enrichment program backed by the National Inventors Hall of Fame.

It gives hands-on STEM experiences in students from first through sixth grades.

This year, there are four parts to the camp: Inducted; Illuminate;  I Can Invent: Next Level Gamers and KartWheel. Organizer Denise Reid and Callie Reid, who's attended the camp for three years, joined us on WTXL Midday for an inside look. Click the thumbnail to watch the complete interview.

Camp Invention is June 8-12, with a registration deadline of June 5. It's at Nevins Hall on the Valdosta State University Campus. The camp costs $220, but there are sibling discounts available.
