Still Time To Submit Application for Freedom Scholarship Essay Contest

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) -- High school students, listen up!

This is the 15th year for the Freedom Scholarship essay contest. In its decade and a half, this scholarship has awarded more than $35,000 to area students looking to pursue higher education.

This year's topic is The Bill of Rights: What It Means to Me As An American. Students can write about one article or the entire Bill of Rights.

The Freedom Scholarship Essay Contest is open to high school juniors and seniors in Leon, Wakulla, Jefferson and Gadsden Counties. The deadline is April 10 at 5 p.m.
